Day 3 of a 50+ lady learning to ride a motorcycle

Winnebego man

My aim is to try and ride everyday, in order to be a step closer to the big day of my A category licence test, although this doesn't seem to be happening. A few days after my first mini ride out, I went a little further afield and headed yet again to Folkestone. I arrived without incident and headed back to junction 12 which lead to the A20. I was happily travelling at 50 mph along the straight section when out of nowhere a racing motorcycle whizzed past me and out of sight, making me feel as though I were an insignificant bug.

Continuing on, enjoying the wonderful sunny weather, I entered the roundabout on junction 11 where I encountered Winnebago Man. I signalled to show that I was leaving the next exit when the older gentleman, with copious amounts of facial hair and glasses, in the camper van decided to pull out onto the roundabout from the motorway into my path. Managing to negotiate past him and not knowing whether Winnebago Man stopped or not ( I suspect the latter) I left the roundabout and headed home. The rest of the journey was uneventful, thankfully, and I resumed with the rest of my day.
