Day 5 of a 50+ lady learning to ride a motorcycle

Later in the day, my husband and I went on The Harley to visit a local motorcycle shop to have a cup of tea and a bite to eat. Whilst having a cup of coffee, we were descended upon by a gentleman enquiring where we bought our helmets as they are 'silly money' these days. Similarly, brand new bikes are 'silly money' as you can buy a car for the same money. He  went on to state that he had the same helmet, although his helmet of choice today was a crash helmet that he bought for £10.00 at a boot fair about 5 years ago. What added to the bargain was that 2 spare visors were thrown in with the deal. What was even more astonishing was that he would not buy a helmet online as one would never know whether it had been dropped in the post. 😳🤯
